Re: how many people with a shift lite? I have a Harlan (green) shiftlight. Going to change to a red one soon though. Mine is mounted on the side of my AutoMeter tach. The tach is zip tied around the steering column and positioned so that it only blocks the factory tach.
Re: how many people with a shift lite? Well I have the autometer. What I did seems a liitle different from everyone else it seems like. I took the center Vent out of air ducts above the radio. I installed it behind the vent. Velcro'ed it down, and put the vent back in. I have a yellow light, at night I close the vent and light still comes through, perfect for me. During the day, I open the vent, and again perfect for me..

Re: how many people with a shift lite? I have an Autometer and it is installed exactly like Big Mike's picture above shows. I also used some industrial grade two-sided tape to mount it. Its been on there over 2 years and hasn't come loose. It is centered perfectly with my speedometer gage.
