Well, I'm an official member of the "twelve point dohhh!" club now. <img src="images/icons/frown.gif" border="0">

My first run was a 12.57 @ 112.12 mph with a shitty 1.98 short time (nittos). Damnit! They didn't prep the track at all today. <img src="images/icons/mad.gif" border="0">

I made two more runs on the Nittos and still couldn't get a decent 60' time. The power was there, but the traction wasn't. So I said screw it and parked the car. I went up to the stands to watch RCowan99SS make a few passes and get some video of his car.. I noticed he was hookin pretty damn good with those ET streets, so after he finished racing I asked him if I could make a couple of passes on them. He said sure, go ahead.. So we yanked off the Nittos and bolted on the ET streets. Man! What a difference! My car hooked great with those things! Screw the Nittos, I gotta get some of those! <img src="images/icons/grin.gif" border="0">

I made 3 passes on them..

first pass was a 12.18 @ 110.71 MPH with a 1.63 60' time.

Second pass was a 12.12 @ 111.12 with a 1.61 60' time.. Oh well.. atleast its a new best ET!

My third and final run was the best.. Here's the slip:



Not the 11 second pass that I was hoping for, but oh well.. The weather was good, but I think it was a little better last time when I ran the 12.15. So maybe with a little cooler air I can get there.

I think I'm gonna sell my POS Toyota truck and use the money to buy a set of weld draglites with skinnies and ET streets out back.

Dewayne, congrats on the new times. Sorry I didn't make it, but I have to spend the time with my daughter when I can. There is a full set of new Convo Pros with tires (didn't specify what kind) in the local swapper for $800. If you want, I'll e-mail you the number.

Richard ran some 12.4s @ 108. I think maybe his car needs some tuning though, because he was running 110 last year.
