Well Nick helped me this last week get an LS6 intake on the car so that I could get some runs in with some decent weather. I went to capitol raceway today and got a few passes in with a 20 mph head wind. There was a noticible 1.5-2 mph differnce in trap speeds depending on how hard the wind was blowing LOL.

I ran a,

11.57@116 1.57 60'
11.58@114 (Damn Wind)1.54 60'
11.59@116 1.58 60'
11.62@112.8(Damn Wind)1.54 60'
11.64@115 1.60 60'

The car was running pretty consitant but I really think there is more in it even with the stock heads. 60' ranged from 1.54- 1.60.

Just want to thank Nick and the A.R.E. guys again for their help and advice. I can say that I honestly gained at least 1.5-2mph by adding the LS6 intake to the motor this week. Previous best MPH and ET at Crapitol was a 11.89@113 a couple of weeks ago.

I watched Andy run today and as usual it was awesome. One time I went up to talk to him after he ran and he had a dissapointed look on his face. I asked what the problem was and he said "My launch felt like it sucked, I don't think I hooked at all." I said, "what was your 60 and he said 1.6"

Oh god Andy, 1.6.....how do you live with yourself. I was out there doing cartwheels because I finally broke the 2.0 60ft barrier that I have had.

Anyway, it is always fun to see him and Moose run (moose was there also) Sorry you couldn't get the juice problem fixed, I know you were dying to spray. <img src="images/icons/frown.gif" border="0">

 

Sorry if I let my perception of a good launch effect my mood haole <img src="images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> I will not do that anymore.

Raughammer: 216/224 114 mostly used for a bottle cam but I think it works OK on the motor to. I think if I would have run at cecil yesterday it would have gone 117. And remeber that all of this is through a 12 bolt, and a TH400 transmission LOL.

Was one of the better days I've had racing in a long time. Good day of racing, a little of this after <img src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" /> , then layed the smack down on a 911 Twin turbo on the way home.

Oh yeah also had a new best of 11.20 @ 125.6.

I only half second behind you Andy, I'm catching up.. LOL Great times today..
