Something is way off with your car. The 60 foot isnt great but if you are on street tires it isnt horrible. The MPH and E.T are horrible for your mods. You have to be running on 4 cylinders or something.

Running on continental DW's street tire. I just change my plugs to NGK tr6's gaped at .035 and checked all my wires. There are no codes thrown and brand new NGK O2's. The car drove fine to the track but a couple of times during gear change low RPM load it would spit and sputter a bit then clear out. Going down the track I shifted at 6500 and it went up in RPM fine. The car literately feels like there is a 305 TBI engine in it.

Worse than a 305 TBI engine. Leak down test needed immediately

That was the first thing I thought of... Leak down test was good 2-5%

No not missing, with the 317's and LS9 gaskets I'd say it's somewhere around 9.25:1 Not low enough to make that much of a difference.

Yeah idk what's going on. Transmission was just rebuilt and it has a monster stage 4 clutch. I just went out to start it and during a test drive During acceleration it bogs down and loses power and I could hear it backfire up through the intake. Other times it seems to run ok? Idk

whats the wideband showing for afr ? it is tuned for the e85 fuel right ? it will take over 30% more fuel than gasoline.

I am assuming your setting up for a future power adder with the lower compression , turbo cam ,and swap to e85

Yeah it will be a turbo car next year... I had a bench tune done and was trying to get everything ready before I put the turbo on. Going to scan it later this week at the tuner... might even have it dyno tuned even though I was waiting until the turbo setup was on. The tuner did set it up for E85, I'm just wondering if the 80lbs injectors are to much for N/A...

Just emailed my tuner. We are going to scan it and see whats going on. I think the combo with my lowered compression from heads and gasket along with the e85 and being N/A is killing me. :/

Probably, iirc e85 setups usually run higher compression for best results. But definitely check that tuneup.

if you're not running really high compression, that E85 is killing you.

That's what I was thinking... I had the tuner set it up for e85 because I'm going turbo next year. I know unless I have a power adder or high compression that e85 is not the best choice and not a good burning fuel in that case. I was just hoping that it would run half way decent at least. With the 317 heads, LS9 gaskets and being an all aluminum LS that my compression must fall below 9:1
The way it's running, it's kinda scaring me away from e85 all together.

I know alot of turbo guys run e85, but say it's a street car where you won't see boost as often and you drive "normal"... Would it run like crap then too until it sees boost? IDK I just don't get it. I'm starting to re-think my project.

do you understand the relationship between octane rating and compression\boost?
