Unless you're a good shopper and can build most of the setup, expect to spend $100,000+ FAST.
Also, a 427 will be too big for a max effort setup, it'll choke the turbo at 1400whp+/- and higher RPM's. I would at least do a 388 (3.622x4.125).

I've got close to $100,000 into my ultra/ultimate class program.
Well over $40,000 in my engine program with BES. 440" Mozez headed nitrous combo.
Another $40,000 into the chassis with one of the best builders in small tire racing.
If you're not ready to go in neck deep you'll spend two or three times the amount. It is a huge commitment to just step into one of these heads up classes. And cars going 4.50's are no joke to drive and maintain. I've spent another $10,000 this year alone on getting to races, testing and tech cards, spare parts and consumables...
