Hey wondering if any one has done there cowl delete kit?
Any pics? Can you do it with the motor in the car?
Also was wanting to get some lexan front and rear windows. .. Never installed lexan. .. how difficult Is it to do and will I be able to keep my vfn sunoco bolt on Lt1hood with removing the cowl and lexan?
Anyone running a rear light weight hatch?
Also what does a light weight steering wheel save lb wise ? Any brands that are direct bolt on?

In for answers also, but judging by the work that needs to be done, I am sure there is no way you could do the cowl delete with the engine installed. I was planning on dropping the k-member down to make as much room as possible.
I installed the rear lexan in my car. It was a PITA. This was before they made the drop in ready ones. Had to trim it to fit and black out the edges. Still need to have it tinted one of these days.
If I were you, I would order a drop in ready one, I think you might be able to get them tinted also. Then take it to a window place and have them install it. Would prob be pretty cheap and look really good.
I'm not sure, my guess would be 50#'s, maybe less? It's a 1 piece front end setup. Makes working on the car a TON easier. Here's a shot of Andy's and I'm sure you can imagine how easy it would be to work on.
