Previously my best was a 2.25 60ft with a 13.45 on DR's. Moose got in my car and ran 13.08 with a 2.01 60ft.
My best run to date is a 13.2@111 with a 2.460ft

BTW, on Autotap, my throttle % never hits 0, it usually drops to around 50% on the shifts. Guess that is like semi-powershifting huh?
How to launch a 6-speed on Nittos? Put the air pressure at 22-24 psi, do a burnout until they smoke plenty enough to see, and slip the clutch out. Yes, this is bad on the clutch, but it works. If your track is prepped halfway decent, it works better, but this slip method even worked for me on the streets where there is no prep. Hold the tach at around 3200-3500 rpm and slip that clutch out without giving it more throttle. Gotta train yourself to keep from mashing the pedal.
When do you mash the pedal? When you feel the weight has transferred to the rear of the car and the tires are hooked. Then floor it!
This will get you 1.80-1.82 short times if you do it right. Your clutch will hate you, especially if it is the stock one. But, your new best ET will be nice!

The higher you rev it, the quicker you will run. No debate. It ain't even close. Shifting at 5900 is costing you a couple tenths. You may even want to raise your limiter a couple of hundreds to avoid hitting it. Ideal shift point for a stock engine? 6300-6400. Oppss! That's past the limiter.
Launching? When you figure it out, please tell me!

It ain't easy to drive a 6 speed Vette into the 9's!!!
The first person that comes to mind is Joe Kizzire. That man can shift! Joe has the A4 syndrome. The gas pedal stays on the floor through the entire run, INCLUDING shifts!

Yep, he gets my vote also. Too bad I didn't get to ride with him at Eunice last weekend...maybe next time, Joe, you can show me how a fast car launches
