I picked up the car from getting vinyl wrapped last night. I think it turned out pretty well.

That motor plate looks good. I am going to do a similar one without the water pump holes. I have a local machinist that has a water jet.

Sorry for the absence, but we have been making some serious progress. The helmet bars are done, the engine is now complete so we sat it down into the chassis for final fitment, etc. Just a few more mounts that need to be made then off to be re-certified.

Use photobucket to host the pics and post the img code so we can see them better. Those pics are so small they aren't even worth looking at.

All of the fab work is done on the chassis and all of the brackets are made. Taking it to the local track Saturday to get it certified then dropping it off to get the new cage and brackets coated.

Indiana State University in Terre Haute , In has a RED with an LS-6 on it . The motor is stock except for a set of aftermarket coated pistons , but retained the stock compression ratio, and it has Lingenfelter electronics on it , and dragster headers of coarse . It goes high 5.20's - low 5.30's at the local 1/8 mile track , it does have s/c numbers on it , so I assume it goes well into the 8's on the 1/4 . The car is maintained and driven by ISU students , of coarse the student that drives has to get an NHRA license . They have a Facebook page called team sycamore racing .
