Actually, the SE cars don't have transbrakes. Since they leave off of a footbrake, starting line RPM's are easier to manage consistently.

Harlan has a working 2-step prototype on his car. I haven't heard anything about it in awhile. Hopefully he'll begin selling them sometime in the near future.

I know I'd like to have one, along with a transbrake, for the occasional race where I could legally use it.

Unfortunately, by the time Harlan comes out with his, MSD will likely be done with theirs! MSD was supposed to have theirs done in Oct, but now they are giving "mid-year" timeframes.

Basically, I have to hurry and stage first so I have time to get my rpms steady on the transbrake at 4000 and then be real steady. It is not easy and I consistantly launch inconsistantly! If I'm not first into the lights with time to get everything situated, there is just not enough time to get everything set before the lights start dropping. When they start dropping and I'm not ready, things go to crap in a hurry.........

Hopefully SuperChips will get my rev limiter fixed on the next go around (we're on my 6th programmer) so it's at 7000 or 7200 and I can actually shift and run the car where it's supposed to be run. Right now we are screwed at the 6200 stock rev limiter and I can't see the full potential of the car. Once that's fixed, SuperChips has one more chance and then Nick Agostino is calling them - after that I think I'm gonna try Ed Wright if it can't be resolved, we ought to see some very low 10's.

See you at the Shootout??!!
