Help me pick a tire/slick
Help me pick a tire/slick Going to buy some rears for my car before spring. Would like to get something street legal. what is everyone suggestions? LT1 automatic(TH350) on spray. Need around a 28"tall or what I can fit with no tubbing. Also has to stay aroun 10" tread width on a 10" wheel.

I've got a 27 x 11.5 Hoosier on a 10" rim. They're the qtps which are dot approved but I wouldn't want to drive around on them very much. They'll wear a lot faster than a radial. I cut 1.51s with a 6 speed car.

I really like the M/T 275 pro also. I have had nothing but luck with them and have been multiple 1.2X 60ft times on a car I help out with down here.

Keep in mind, the Pro's are not street legal.
I would not mix bias and radial, but I would not ever run a skinny either. Horrible steering and braking (basically no control over the car) is not worth 1/10 for me.
