New best at track today

New best at track today Man the car was just running great. Got a 7.440 @ 90.71 mph with a 1.617 60' <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
And I will say thanks Mark. <img src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" border="0" alt="[hail]" /> Before that the best I could get out of it today was a 7.504 @ 89.27 with a 1.658 60' I also have some time slips of back to back runs where his throttle body gained me a 0.10 in the 1/8 mile and over 2 mph. N/A <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> Know lets start a list of who wants one. The gains where over an already ported throttle body that had gained me a 0.10 at the same track.

Re: New best at track today You picked up a full tenth in the 1/8th mile with a throttle body? I would have to say there were other factors at play there. You're talking 1.5-2 tenths in the 1/4 mile.
I'm not saying I don't believe you, but something just doesn't sound right.

Re: New best at track today I can E-mail you the time slips and round up a few people that saw it first hand. They all say the same thing till they try one on their car and then it's <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0"> please sell me one.

Re: New best at track today I was there and it's one of my TB's. The track was hooking so traction wasn't an issue and the runs were made almost back to back. We couldn't beleive it either. (A-tap was used and I still need to reveiw that imformation to see if anything else could account for the gain)
After 98TA made his passes, we put it on my car and it went from ( 8.076 / 8.075 / 8.073 / 8.11) swaped TB's and the next pass was 8.040
All of my 60's were 1.78 to 1.80 and all the 330's were 5.18's
The track closed early so I couldn't get any more passes in, and they didn't have my slip to see what the rest of the numbers looked like. I think I could have went a little faster if I could have made another pass or two.
These gains are over a ported TB, not a stocker, so it makes it even harder to beleive. We will be testing some more cars this week and see how they react to the change.
