2 1/2" headers on an ls1?
2 1/2" headers on an ls1? Hey guys i have a question regarding header size. I have a stock internal ls1 with AFR 205 heads, fast 102 intake, and nitrous cam, on a 200 shot of nitrous, I also have a set of 2 1/2" headers steped to 1/8 into a 4.5" collector that I haven't put on yet. My question is: would i benefit from such a big header or would it actually hurt the performance?

Seems a little on the large side for the mods you have. Headers are like carbs bigger is not always better. There is however no harm trying them out. Do you have stock manifolds on now or some other LT headers on the car that you can compare the results to?
