Default Upper panhard rod support

Has anyone removed the upper panhard rod support and raced without it? Just wondering if it really would make any difference if it was not in the car at all.

I've had mine out for a few months and it rides great. The only downfall of taking it out is that your car is now 5-10 lbs lighter. I know, it sucks.

Mine has been out for three years. I don't ever try to take corners hard. I have a Billingsley adjustable PHB in there now to make up for the lost strenghth plus I had to center my 9".

The only thing I found that happens is that the panhard support on the body will flex a little more under compression. I was adjusting mine and noticed that it would flex the sheet metal a little bit. Other then that, I have not noticed anything else.

Mine has been out for a over 2 years. I don't take corners fast at all with all my drag oriented suspension and spool but i've had no problems at all.
