The track officials had to make some changes after his first pass:
Install another turnout 1 mi further from the finish line.
Put extra bolts in the guardrails. He was sucking them off their posts.
Put better concrete in the waterbox, he dug two trenches a foot deep.
Upgraded the timing equipment. His passes wouldn't show up because he was thru the finish lights before the staging lights registered him moving.
AND...

If it's real, we want to learn from what he's doing. You don't make a claim like this and act like it's no big deal. If I had one of the quickest LS1's in the country I'd definitely want to let others see it, know about it, etc. He has NO proof, and we don't want his BS here. If he can't add anything to the site or take any good information from the site, then we don't need him or his false claims. A lot of the guys here know exactly what it takes to run a nice ET. I, as well as many others, know how much money it takes to go fast, and a 9-second slip is not cheap. None of his claims or parts add up. None of it makes sense. He may be able to woo the crowd on another board, but here's it's nothing more than a bunch of BS.

I couldn't agree with you more. I understand how serious a lot of people take the performance of their cars. But with that said, its obvious that we have called him out on it, so the best thing to do is just leave it be and ignore it. If he can't prove it, he didn't run it, PERIOD. So why worry.

Re: Where's Juevos? We KNOW the passes were never made. Hell, we even talked to the track officials. Not only were the passes not made, the car wasn't even there. (A bright orange car with no hood running 9s is hard to miss.)
Having said that, Juevos is still a fun topic...of course it really should be in the lounge but anyway.
