Gizmo- I am going to be puttin in the airbag very soon. That launch pic was with 15psi... so will try and stay there.
Jfm - i called percision and they told me it was a 3600.... I am going to get the car auto tapped this weekend and see what it is flashing to. I am also thinking of jumping up to a 4k stall.... since I plan on spraying next year.

I’m in the same boat you are in except probably even worse. I am completely satisfied with everything about my car except the sixty-foot. There are bolt on cars that weigh more than me and have less gear and fewer suspension mods that have sixty-footed low 1.5’s but I continually sixty-foot high 1.5’s.
I am exactly 3,300 lbs race weight, have QA1 type r shocks and springs up front and QA1 shocks in rear with stock springs, BMR tubular front suspension, BMR boxed sub frames, BMR extreme torque arm, BMR lower control arms, BMR pan hard bar, rear air bags in the springs with passenger side at 15 psi and driver’s side not currently used. I also have a chromoly 6-point weld in roll cage. I have the C1 hammer cam and run mid 11’s @ 116 to 117 mph in 1500’ DA. My best is 11.36 @ 119 with a DA of zero. My sixty foot on that run was only a 1.55, which is good but if you compare to others who have similar set ups and run the same ET and mph, they all have done it with better sixty foots.
I don’t get it, I am pulling both front tires off the ground and carrying the left front a good 10 to 20 feet but my sixty-foot times are ***. I think they are off by .04 to .06 and I’m out of ideas. I have never played with the adjustable torque arm but why should I when I’m pulling the front tires and dead hooking? Even if it would help, it’s not going to give me the .04 to .06 I’m missing.
So if you figure out what’s going on, let me know, I’m all ears at this point.

My car does lean right but not bad at all, i run 26 by 10.5 et streets 16PSI HOT on 15 by 7.5 centerlines so they are small tires, that day my car was running 11.90s at 112 with a DA of 1700, isnt there somekind of anti roll bar for our cars instead of using airbags.

15 psi is a minimum number, if you are wrinkling the side walls that much you are throwing away sixty foot. Make sure that you are using a good quality guage and checking pressure before each run.
Most LT1 and LS1 Stockers can sixty foot in the 1.3's with the help of an airbag, so I question the need for a monster sway bar on a low HP car.

Peweter - Man I would be extremly happy with a 1.55 but that is because I am cutting 1.69's ;( What converter are you running? I will let you know if I figure it out.
Boom - Thanks for the info... I have the 9.75" bogarts so I had to go with the 11.5s. My car was running simmular to yours with the stock motor and stock suspension... but my car still was not 60 footing. I changed the motor, added a k-mem, and hal's all at the same time... so that is alot of change all at once. I guess I will add the air bag and have it auto tapped and see what it is doing.

It’s all relative. I’m sure an A3 stroker-motor car would not be happy with mid 1.4’s. That sounds fast to you and me but not when compared to similar cars/setups. When comparing apples to apples, my sixty-foots seem to be sub par as do yours. Always have to compare apples to apples. I’m leaving for the drag strip in 10 minutes. I’m going to play with my torque arm and QA1 settings, as well as the psi in my tires and airbag. I might play with the timing advance a little bit too. I’ve been getting 4* KR throughout my runs, if it is determined to be false knock I will up the timing 4* across the board for a couple runs to see if it makes a difference. I will post up tonight or tomorrow morning and let you know if I was able to figure anything out.

Well, I had some luck last night. The details are in my thread here in the drag racing forum titled "What more can I do to improve my sixty-foot time?"
I forgot to answer your question yesterday. I have a YPT 4400 converter and 4.10 gears on QTP 26 x 11.5 x 15 wrapped on 15 x 8.5 Convo Pros.

DEEZ98Z: what are your HALs set at? The 3600 should be able to pull some decent 60' but if all else fails your best bet would be to step up to a Yank PT4400. I have ran 5 different converters in my car and this one is the all around best in my book. But I know how you feel somewhat, I have a hard time comparing my car to others too, but then I realize every car is different even if you have the same mods
