Default Nitrous launch RPM??

Ok NA I launch off the redline and have no traction problems w/ 28x9 ET Drags (346hp 353tq).

On Nitrous I will be at about 475hp & 565tq, (with a Moser 12 bolt, Cartek clutch, Denny's driveshaft, good suspension, and ET Drags) so at about what launch rpm am I gonna not have traction. I have always had to worry about breakage and always had complete traction with my stock internal runs, don't think its gonna be the same with a lil spray. Obviouslty it will take some experimenting but I need a good starting point.
Thanks!
-Justin

I don't think nitrous launches need to be anywhere near as high as a N/A launch. I think right in the meat of the torque, about 3500-4000 rpms.

Last night I launched at around 4900 and sprayed as soon as the clutch hooked...which was pretty much instantly. Cut a 1.580.

My 10.8 run shows (via atap) a 5900 launch on the spray. Cut a 1.6 60' on et drags that way.

Justin, have you got in any n20 passes yet? Just wondering how it is working for you. Did you upgrade any of your fuel system?

Jason, no I haven't made any nitrous passes yet. My fuel system is still stock, but the dyno numbers in my sig are misleading. I think that my tires were slipping and made the dyno read high, I am only running a 100 shot for now. I'm planning on getting an aftermarket fuel pump soon and jetting it up a little.
Here is the 515HP 632TQ DYNO you can see by the curve that it would actually be closer to 475hp & 565tq. My goal is to run a 10 after I get the nitrous dialed in and perfected, I'm not sure if I'll need to jet it higher or if I can cut off a full second with just a 100 shot. I'll be sure to get a video of my runs though, and we'll see how much higher I can get my wheels up than on my NA launch. I also will have Wolfe SFCs, a lighter battery and drivers seat, a RR airbag, and a tublar K-member and A-arms by then (~2 weeks).
