Autometer shift light question.....

Autometer shift light question..... I want to install a shift light. I like the autometer one but i have a question about it. Do i just need to buy the shift light itself and the "pills" to set rpm or do i need that other "module" thing. I mean the module is as much as the shift light so i dont wanna buy it if i dont have to. Basically what im asking is can i install the shiftlight with just the shiftlight? Thanks.

The modules and pills are used to set the shift RPM. You need to have a way to set what RPM to shift at. Some lights like mine have another way to set the shift RPM. You can see where you set it on the right side of the Tack-light.

Re: Autometer shift light question..... just get a ramcharger shiftlight (ramcharger.com, i think.) $45 and it has a **** on the back of it to adjust when it comes on. was thinking about getting harlan's, but some people were having issues w/ receiving them quickly.
