what brake system?

I bought a set of 15x8 weld draglites and a pair of skinnier for the front. As we all know with the ls1;the brake pads have to be grinder down quite a bit in order to fit.I did this but feel more uncomfortable the more I drive the car now. I'm always stressing if they're going to snap at every stop sign and especially at the track when I'm slowing down after the race. I've heard you can swap for lt1 brakes...how much does this involve. I've heard if weld rts but still have to be sanded a little and are quite expensive and then obviously drag brake system But what kind ...

Strange brakes are by far the best for wheel clearances and are the highest quality you will find.

Are the strange brakes good for street use? Say 95% driving around/5% at the track

Strange brakes are designed for "racing use only", just like most aftermarket parts are. Now... what you do with them after you get them in your hands is up to you

We have sold a lot of Strange brakes to customers as racing only components, and they ended up on the street.

Has anyone ever heard or had shaved brakes snap? I've Googled it and I don't see anything but all I know it's scary and doesn't stop you worth a crap Vs stock.

If you mean grind down the stock caliper, mine have been shaved down for about 4 years no problem.

Depends on what kit you want, but rears are usually in the 595.00, fronts are 995.00. Give us a call and we can set you up with the right parts the first time, and at even better prices!
