2002 zo6 1/4
Give me a free magazine car to beat on and I'll damn sure put it to the test.
2002 Z06 Vettes are making about 360 rwhp on the dyno, that is good for high 11s with traction and good weather in that lightweight 3000 lb car.

Saw 1 w/ 3 bolt ons (pulley, catback, intake) that made 392 at the rear go 11.8 @ over 120.

That's freakin' amazing! Matt what kind of intake was on the Z06? Whoever that guy was, he is my hero an 11.8 on street tires @ over 120 mph!!! That's insane and it sounds emissions legal!

Has anyone ran or seen a 2002 zo6 at the drag strip? I was just wondering if their running any better that the mags have shown.

I drove a buddy's bone stock 01 Z06 on four runs in not so great weather (2000' DA) to the tune of 12.80's-12.90's at around 113-114 mph. That was with no burnout or powershifting at his request.
Same track, months later with about the same weather, a bone stock 02 Z06 was running 12.40's at 117 with the guy spinning badly and shifting with a BIG pause between gears.
Get it out of the hole and shift it right and 12.1x's or low 12.2x's or better should be there, bone stock, at probably 118 mph. Impressive to say the least.

So you are going to run this Z06 at the track and then sell it as new?? I would hope it would become a demo unit....

LOL....That is my buddy Sean that you guys are talking about. He just ran those ET's last weekend on a not-so-great track. His mods are: Longtubes, Cold air intake(dont remember the brand), gutted cats, and a pulley. His car also has nitrous. On the spray, the car ran 102 in the 1/8, but he shut it down due to a minor problem. That car is simply bad ***, and convinced me that modded Z06's are nothing to be taken lightly. He eats up Vipers on motor, and has beaten sprayin Vipers as well. Sean loves to go pick on them
