Results from SCD 10's N/A
1st run: I went 10.950 on a 1.569 60' the mph clock screwed up so I didn't get a mph on that run, but...comparing this run to my best run at HRP last week I was 1 mph faster and .073 quicker at the 1/8 mile mark then at HRP.
My 1/8 mile ET was 7.002 @ 99.11 mph tonight at SCD. So I'm pretty sure that the 10.95 run was @ 125ish mph.
I made this run on the same tuning I had at HRP.
After the first run I got Allan to install the hot tune for the PCM, but alas....I never got a chance to make a run with it.
2nd run: (or I should say 2nd attempt)
On the launch I spun the yoke off the carbon fiber driveshaft just like Allan did at Bowling Green in September. Hey no problem, I had my spare Chromoly DS in the truck, so my (pit crew) slapped that one on for me and I was ready for attempt #3.
3rd attempt:
Well, thinking all was well, I was ready to best my new best ET, but it wasn't meant to be.
This time the Chromoly DS held up no problem, but my Strange 12-bolt posi unit had other ideals.
Yep, I broke that on the launch as well.
FIDDLE STICKS!!!
I was launching at 6000 rpm tonight.
I removed the passenger seat and the Mufflex exhaust and put the bullet muffler on for tonight.
Raceweight was 3478 lbs.
The conditions tonight were: COLD and about a 15 mph headwind.
45 degrees, 59% humidity, 30.33 Barometer
-1119 DA
So, thanks to my pit crew for helping me out and pushing me back on the trailer. Thanks you guys!
Hmmmmmmmm......let me see here.
Does this make me the first 346 cid N/A M6 LS1 to run 10's???

BTW, I believe Judson had the 1st stock-cubed M6 LS1 in the 10's. Right after that, he swapped over to the Jerico.

Did you weight that on SCD's Abacus Scale? LOL
Congrats on your new bests. It's about time that gold plated car made it into the 10's. Remember though, you still have to contend with the black TA. I has a slight surprise for ya. HEHEHE

No Tim I didn't weigh the car on that pos scale at SCD.
I had the same amount of gas in the tank as I did at HRP, and I removed 72 lbs of weight from the car, then just did some simple math and subtracted the 72 lbs from 3550 and presto, 3478 lbs.
Suprise huh? LOL riiiight!
Oh wait, did you get your little stool permantly mounted in your car so nobody would hide it from you anymore and keep you from being able to get in to your car? HEHEHEHEHE
Anyway, thanks for the congrats guys, and I'm double checking to see if Jusdon did indeed go 10's before he converted to the Jerico or not.

I am the first 346 ci N/A M6 LS1 to run 10's!!!
Thanks Tony for checking into that and confirming it.
Gordon
Yes, Gordon is the FIRST 346ci 6-speed to run 10s NA. Judson got rid of the T56 when he was running mid-11s due to clutch issues. I'm also pretty sure he had the 375ci solid-roller under the hood when he went 10s the first time.
Jason 98 TA was the first 6-speed to run 10s NA, then Mickey (MIC5EY) was next. Jason99T/A would have been the first 346ci 10s, but sold his motor too soon
Congrats Gordon! After outspending us for 3 years now, the results have finally paid off! Welcome to the top of the heap bud! My new goal for the next project motor is to smack ALL of the other 6-speed NA cars down....and keep them down for a while (hehehehe). If the T56 busts, I have a fresh spare waiting. If that busts, we are moving to a TH350/brake
