Default Nothing impressive but a new best none the less.....

Well I finally made it back out to the track after over a year of waiting. My previous best was an 11.97 @ 120.13 with stock 3.42's, the stock LS1 intake, and at 3600 lbs.....

Well after staying up all night and I do mean all night working on my car and a few customers cars, we showed up at the track at 10am. Well it was the first week the track was open and it was packed! They announced that they handed out almost 400 tech cards!!!!!!

Well after waiting in line forever the car about 4 cars infront of me breaks and puts anitfreeze down my entire lane So they get that cleaned up and I go to launch at about 4200 rpm, well needless to say it spun its *** off to the tune of a 2.24 60' and a 12.20 @ 121.50.....Horrible launch and ET but a new best MPH , as I passed the booth I pulled up on the scales and the car came in at 3620lbs with me in the car. This is full interior, minus spare and jack, and I was on slicks and skinnies, so she is a little bit of a pig.......

Well about 3 hours later I finally get to make one more pass. I launched a little softer this time and the car bogged , but the car went straight down the track this time as opposed to the previous attemped.

60' 1.857
330' 5.063
1/8 7.646 @ 95.73
1000' 9.875
1/4 11.740 @ 121.19

I only got two passes in and never got even a decent launch. I think the car has some low 11.50's high 40's in it at full weight. The track will be open again in a couple weeks lets just hope it isn't so crowded........

Like I said yesterday, you're making some killer MPH! I agree that 11.4's - 11.5's are doable w/ the 3,600+# raceweight. Your heads/cam setup is running stronger than ever. I'm thinking of going to Red River Raceway next weekend so I can hotlap and work with the suspension some.

That is bad *** for 3:42's. Your car would haul ***** with a 12 bolt and some 4:11's

Congrats Matt! I see 11.4s for sure with a good launch, but go ahead and drop some weight and run 11.3s to prove us wrong
