*** NITTOs *** Post your best 60'...
Hoping to shave .3-.4 with the Nittos. Actually ordered the new R-IIs. I know they're not as good for the strip, but I like cornering ability, too.
TIA...

1.51?!! Was that with 275s or 315s? That's awesome! Hell...that whole run is pretty awesome.
So it seems like 1.7s are possible with my setup. If I can cut a 1.7 60' with practice that would be great for bringing my ET down.
The reason I'm asking is that I went to HRP for the very first time this past Sunday to see where my car is at. My best run out of three was a 12.7@112 with a 2.1 60'. I trapped at 112 on all three runs so I know my car has better ETs in it. If I can cut a 1.7 60', I should be able to hit 12.3s and maybe even 12.2s. Thanks guys.

I blow the Nittos right off the car now, but it has been so friggin cold that the tire rubber has been too hard to tell if they have a prayer of hooking up a little later on. Could be worth grins to run these at the track, though - might want to evacuate the crowd from the stands
M6's with nittos usually get around 1.8's if they are good 1.7's if they are really lucky
Carlitos, that was done on 275/40/17 Nittos.

I think with some practice and the good track prep that Houston Raceway Park does, 1.7s are very possible. We've got guys down hear cutting 1.8-9 on good street tires quite often.
Actually, I'm realistically expecting 1.8s but hoping for 1.7s (see my initial post). Either way I'll be happy. See ---->

Thanks Colonel!

The Nittos are probably the best that I can do on the street. I can't really think of another option in a tire that is really streetable on a regular basis.

Dang it Colonel. I don't want to go over to a high stall auto yet while this car is still predominantly my daily driver. Do I just have to sit back and drool at the ridiculous 60 foot times some of you guys are getting?
