Chris at circle d said he was not too concerned with the 4500 but was with it being slower in the 1/4.

He wants me to run it with a gopro looking at the gauges to log the rpm deta since I have no other way to do it. With this info it will help to determine what's going on better.

For my own knowledge...does he want to see it up on the brake and to see the shift extensions? I'm assuming he wants to see at least a 800-1000 drop on the shifts.

He wants to see what it does when I let off the brake and to launch without it to see where it's flashing. Didn't get too technical.

No data logs but I have videos of the gauges with gopro per the request of Chris at Circle D.

Im a little curious about the A/F ratio on the runs. The TB run is all over the place and the flash from idle pull is pretty consistent but a little rich. Only go two runs in tonight, it was busy and the junior dragsters took over the track.

First video is with the trans brake. Revs to 4500 then drops to 4000 as soon as the tires start to grab. Still have the same times as before.
Next is me just flashing the converter from idle, Chris asked me to try this. In my old setup this was the most effective, did no have a TB back then though. I turned the gopro on a little late but it seems to flash upwards of around 4000? The times match the transbrake times. The footbrake launch is the best so far with the 11.22 et, did not get to do any runs foot braking it tonight.

Can you log battery voltage with and without the transbrake?

Did you try making a pass after the transbrake passes to see if the mph came back?

The way the tach looked. It appears you might be blowing the tires off before it hooks. When you use the TB. And not when you foot brake. Which wood explain a slower everything. Get it to hook off the brake and you should see some improvement. Other than that the converter looks like its doing what it is supposed to do.

You could use some improvement on your reaction time. No offence. According to your time slips, you are all over the place. The best was a .095. And that was your best time. 11.94 Right now with no power adder it could definitely use more gear. IMO. Mark your side wall and have someone video your launch, so you can see if your spinning after, or on the hit of the TB, or both.

The tires are hooking great with and without the TB. The TB still has a delay after I let go of it if that helps with my concern.

Can't log the voltage at the moment but the next pass was after the TB and it only picked up 1 mph.

Not trying for reaction time at all, it doesn't affect the time anyways. If I were, they might still be all over the map lol.

Here are the times lips from last night. First pass on left is transbrake, the right is flashing from idle.

Well thats much better. Your converter obviously likes to be flashed hard than the transbrake will allow without a 2 step. Get a 2-step and set it about 500-1000 rpm lower than the stall speed of the converter. Testing testing testing.

Something is more wrong than that tho. You were trapping 123 and now you are 114? either something changed from those 2 passes or you have a problem. Even in the summer vs fall air, I only see 3-4 mph difference.

I noticed your A/F ratio was 11.9-12.0. I am not an N/A guy, but isn't that rich?

I have seen guys shoot for 12.5-13.0 before.

Car had tons of false knock and was pulling timing, first thing that comes to my mind is that off the trans-brake it would cause the knock sensors to go off and pull timing hence the low mph and et compared to leaving off the foot brake.
