definately sounds like DA too me my TA goes 13.3 at 1500 and 13.00 oat 400

I would say DA was different or you were bogging with the stickier tire.

Tire bit and won't let the car pull up as quick. Out at least a 3.73 in the rear to start, and unless you're going it boost or spray the car I would be looking for a 4800-5200 converter, anything you do to the motor is going to raise the power and rpm wise and every time the car will like a big converter like that more and more.

I bet the gear and a 8 inch converter like that would pick the car up a full second, just tuning to get the shifting right to work with both.
