Default Test and Tune Tires

I'm headed to the local drag strip for a fun test and tune night. I have no plans on converting my car to a full out drag car, just going to have some fun. Car is full bolt on M6. I have 18" wheels with 295-35-18 Street tires on currently. I have my stock 245-50-16's. Does it matter which one I run? Will one perform better than the other? On street tires I don't have high expectations, but curious which ones you guys think will hook better. Thanks!

295's are Bridgestone Potenza RE760's - 1 year old
245-50's are BF Goodrich G-Force Comp 2- 5 yrs old (good tread)
