New bests, 60' and ET I just got the tranny installed yesterday morning and made it out to BMP today. The weather was not as good as I had hoped, but the track was dead hooking. My first pass was a stunning 15.9 at 64 mph <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> . The foam seal for the K&N has come loose and got sucked into the maf. Once I pulled that out it was fine. I ran a couple of mid 11.6s with a 6k launch. The car was bogging a little so I went to a 6500 launch. I ran consistent 11.5s at 120 mph.
The best pass of the day was
60' -1.634
1/8th-7.370
mph - 94.66
1/4 11.470
mph 120.51
At a very portly 3575 race weight!
I was so surprised by the slip that I tried to give it back to the guy <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> . I had spun off of the line and short shifted 2-3. I was expecting to see 11.6x. What a surprise!
Next time out I will bring the car back down to #3400. That and some good air ( wasn't that great today) I'm hoping for some 11.3s.

BTW My best 60 today was 1.61. Still no 1.5, but after I drop 150lbs, I'm, sure that will drop. This ram 402/6130 setup is kicking ***! My Cartek would only hold a 5K launch. This thing is taking a 6600 rev-limiter launch over and over! This thing rocks for only $320!

Man for that weight, those are some dang good times.
Keep on chipping away at it and you will keep on getting happier and happier as your times drop. (works for me!)
