Default bonestock 2002 Z06, 437 miles....

no cool down, straight to lanes for 3 hotlappers. Didn't even alter tire pressure. Coolant 207 as I approached the box on all three runs:

run #1:
12.7 at 115
2.28 60ft

run #2:
2.4 60ft
aborted run

run #3:
60ft... 2.062
330.... 5.396
1/8.... 8.111
mph.... 91.85
1000... 10.425
1/4.... 12.388
mph.... 113.73

Had to leave after this run. The IRS is a definite handful to launch. Need alot more practice. Weather was great except for stiff headwind.

I'm pleased, but I think another guy in a stock 2002 actually went 11.9 later that night. Maybe the wind layed down some from when I was there <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> (haha)

Good runs Jeff! You really, really need a 160F Thermostat in that car. We run MUCH better with coolant temps below 185F.

Hey Jeff, very nice runs for your first time out! Just a couple of things to think about.....

A buddy of mine (which you probably already read about) is running a set of Longtubes, CIA, and a pulley on his 2002 Z06. He has ran a best of 11.8/120 mph! You can really get those Z06's running GOOD when you open them up. I believe Sean's car will go into the low 11's/123ish with a completely stock motor.

Good luck with the car.
