Congrats on the run....someone has to give those A4's a run for their money <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> And to think, just last week, several people in DFW where questioning a friends car because it ran 117mph on stock heads/cam and 3.42's. I thought 117 was actually good until the bar gets reset again <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Killer. That boy was stunned when he finally got that slip.
Y'all, there is plenty of weight he hasnt removed from the car.
If he removes that weight and goes back to HRP today... the bar will drop again.
The temp is MUCH cooler today and with the extra weight removed the record will fall... AGAIN.
Not bad for a internally stock LS1/M6...not bad all. Just wait till you get those heads and cam!
Good luck, I sincerely hope you drop in the 11.5's.

Told ya it can be done.....
I sincerely think alan will be able to go 10's in a stock internal motor once he gets a 12 bolt..

The ones referenced in his sig were purchased/planned but not installed mods. The heads are still sitting in 2 plastic bags at Silver Pig's house, and the cam hasn't been ordered yet.

Re: New 6-speed bolt-on record Damn just realized I need to drop 200lbs to get my 3415 closer to your race weight. Can you give me some pointers? It is a daily driver so I don't want to go extreme. I have taken the spair/jack out, along with the front passenger seat; I need to remove the rear seats. Is it hard to remove the rear seatbelts and such? What else can I wor on? Anyone have the Colonel's weight reduction list handy?

Re: New 6-speed bolt-on record Come on, people. Sally doesn't like to use plain English, but I do. My sig clearly says (and always has said), "Coming soon:" in front of all the internal motor mods listed at the end. Someone posted saying they didn't uderstand why the subject of this thread said "bolt-on" when they looked at my sig and saw heads/cam, but what they failed to see was the "Coming soon:" I hope this clears up any confusion.
