I'm not sure if you have enough power to overcome the lack of 'hook'...where were you planning on trying this...Closest open track I know of is ATCO.

Capitol decided not to open yet <img src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" border="0">

I ran 11.1@122 on nittos and 100 shot i think 10's are possible with the 150 shot and progresser.

To run 10s on nittos you take a 9 second car, then replace the slicks for nittos.

Hate to tell you this but you can blow the rear on nittos as well. I watched my buddy blow his rear this past weekend at the track. He has cam, tuning, suspension, bolt ons, stock rear with 4.10s and nittos. Snaped it like a twig leaving the tree. Think his tire preassure was at 17psi.

You don't need a 9 second car to run 10s with Nittos. I ran 10.70@128.5 MPH with a 60 ft time of 1.51 in FULL street form. Nice stereo system, full interior, full exhaust, 17" wheels at all four corners, 4L60-E tranny, ~3500 lb raceweight.

What was the car running on slicks at the time? 10.52 (LONG way from 9s!.) Was the track hooking good that day? HELL YEAH!

with the suspension right you will only loose maybe 2 tenths between a slick and a drag radial of comparable size
