Maximus running strong again !!!! After two months of my car missing above 5k I finally got the problem fixed and made a trip out to the track. Unfortunatly they were only running the 1/8th mile but that was better than nothing. I got there early so I could be the first car to run.
first pass went like this.

1/8---7.73
mph---92.68
second pass.
60'---1.80
330'--5.03
1/8---7.71
mph---92.72
Needless to say I am VERY happy with how the car was running tonight.
My mods consist of:
FRA
Direct Flow lid
ported maf
Grot longtubes
factory y-pipe without cats
cutout
ripper shifter
I went to the track shooting for an 11 but since they werent running the quarter I dont know what I would have ran. Does anyone have a clue as to what these times would come out to in the 1/4?

Re: Maximus running strong again !!!! Good runs man, you are definitely in the 11.95-12.05 range, probably around 116 mph traps.

I was getting missfires on 1,3, and 8 between 5k and 5700 rpm. after checking out EVERY thing I could I put my stock crank pulley back on the car and the first run out It pulled hard all the way to 6100 (shifted). I dont know why the pulley was causing it but Im just glad the car is running right again.
Over spring break Im going to get rid of the factory y-pipe in lew of a 3" y and I was thinking about putting a bullet muffler in front of my cutout on the intermediate pipe but Im not sure if that would hinder performance much or not.
hopefully with the 3" y-pipe and a ported TB I will have a solid 11 second ride <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
