[quote] Bob,
The price on the LS1 kit, part # 60506 is $ 530.82. This is the
panel and wiring harness only. You still have to get computer from 98 Camaro,
part # 16238212. This
# should be on the casing of your computer. If your using a 99 LS1 it must
have
mechanical throttle linkage to work correctly. The 97-98 can be electric. If
interested e-mail back or contact Mark @ (609) 242-1500.
Thank You,
Mark Monjoy

This is from a painless Dealer so we'll see if Painless directly has anyhting else to add
Man I don't think that this is gonna be anywhere cost effective ANY time soon

As far as the Painless harness being cost effective: that would depend on how much weight it saves... I've heard from reliable sources that there are ~250lbs of wiring in an LS1 F-body. How much weight can be saved? Heck, we pay close to $1000 for k-members that shed ~40lbs or so...

You will defintly get the 10.5. If anyone can work a combo to its full potential its you.
Can I ask a favor? Can email the info on how you got the front bumper support out on 30 minutes. I'm looking at that job, and it looks to me like a 8-hour job. Take front bumper off, bunch of other stuff.
Thanks

Does that mean you could use a Vette fly-by-wire TB? That'd be interesting to see on a F-body.
