Lightweight carpet and seats. Looking for lightweight carpet and seats. I dont know anything about either one of these, where to get them, best brand, etc. Im trying to lighten up the car without taking the stock look away, well at least not too much. The back seat is already out, Im just looking for the front seats. I dont know what brand is better than the other, so I need recommendations on where to get the seats and carpet from. I also need to who has them for the best price and what brand I need to get. Thanks.

I made my own carpet.
last year i had corbeu(sp) Forza II's for driver and passenger but got rid of them for stock leather this year..they weren't bad for what they were but i just got sick of them.

You really need to start using the search button.
Try searching in this forum using the "carpet" and see what comes up.
I am running crappy carpet from Autozone, it's not as nice as molded carpet but it's going to get me by this year.

Black Wal-Mart special here. Not molded, but I'm not paying $300 for a damn molded rug. Plus, this stuff is WAY lighter than anything else out there...5# tops for the entire car.
I still have stock leather, but I've been thinking about something else. Never realized how heavy the stock seats were until I threw them out of the car.

I just hate using it because my computer is so slow, not to mention I use dial up. Anyway, from what Ive read, some recommend the Year One's carpet, some say just make it yourself, and most say go with the carpet from Speed Inc. which what I was going to ask about next, but I guess I dont have to anymore. The cheap stuff that you can make yourself may be cheaper and lighter, but will wear really fast. However, if you spent a little extra money, you can get a molded carpet that will last. I think I might go with the one from Speed Inc.
Now time to do a search on the seats...here goes another half hour!
