1st time at the track Needles to say, it isn't near as easy as i though. first time out the box with my adrenalane pumping I ran a pathatic 14.88@105 with a 60' of 2.780. Second time I ran a little better with a 13.543@107.21 with a 60' of 2.422. I think with a good 60' she will run 13.2 or 13.0 <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">

Jason Salvo...that rat bastard told me his car was stock. Come ta find out he hs at least 4.10 gears in it considerin he was hittin the limiter in third. <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">
He ran a 12.94 in a "stock" 99 Z.
BTW, at 107 you can easily get a 12. I was runnin 12.8's at 106 with good 60's.
I ran a 12freakin7 at 108 Friday on danged BFG comp TA's. I could only manage a 12.8 on Drag Radials.

Re: 1st time at the track What's up Stu. After my run I was over by the check in booth waiting on Bill, and talkign to one of the tech guys. I saw your run at 12.7! Nice run. One day I'll get there <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> I never did see Salvo that night. The guy you were with told me he ran that 12.9. I couldn't believe it, since he told me all he had done to it was the FRA mod. Of course this was about 8 months ago when I talked to him. Guess them gears help out just a little bit.
Do you guys go up there every Friday? I have a feeling I will be going up there a few more times this year. Like you guys said with that MPH I think it's possible to get high 12's or real low 13's.

Re: 1st time at the track more delaware people good good. 107 is great mph my best mph is 104 but that was stock. i got awful runs and a wrong timeslip when i just went last week but my girl said 13.5's but didnt see the mph. after the drag radials and the borla goes on i think i can get a low 13 like 13.2 or 13.1 out of it. btw, any of you guys go to cecil? thats where i go when i run.

We were there last Friday night at Cecil. Have you ever ran at DELMAR? The only thing I didn't like about cecil is the million people that were there. Everyone was cool, but I'd rather only 5 people show up <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> then I can get 10 runs in instead of 2!

Re: 1st time at the track Stu what's up man? All i did to it was FRA. The car was a lease car before I got it so....assumed it was all stock. Anyway had alot of fun. Thanks for taking me along. Now that tax returns are here time to start doing some mods. Maybe see a 12.6
