Default Which drag tire for my M6 set-up?

I've read through a lot of the posts here on tire recommendations and wanted to get some input on the best tire for my set-up. The car is a '95 M6 Z28. Motor is mostly stock with a 503 cam, shorty headers, Hooker cat-back, Moroso CAI and a mail-order tune. Rear is a Moser 12 bolt with 4.10 gears and True-trac. Clutch is a Spec 2+. I boxed and installed poly bushings in the LCAs and have been running 245/55/16 Nitto DRs on the stock salad shooters. Otherwise, the suspension is stock. I've done some weight reduction and the car weighs 3250 or 3500 lbs with me and a few gallons of gas in it. Ran the car at the track a couple of times and got a best of 13.30 @ 105 mph with 1.9 60' foot times. I've experienced the DR problems described in other posts - high RPM launch = spinning tires, low rpm launch and the car bogs. I've gotten the best times with the high RPM launch with spinning tires.

Sooo, I'm considering a pair of 26/10.5/15 bias ply MT ET Streets before my next trip to the track. My goal is to get the car running consistently in the high 12s, which I think it should be capable of, given the MPH and mods. Since my last time out, I've installed a tunnel mounted UMI adj TA and removed another 100 lbs out of the car. I ordered a pair of front dual adjustable Viking coil-overs today (they're on sale!) so they'll be on the car next time out. Been looking for a good deal on some front skinnies and lighter wheels, too.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I've used E/T streets and I would say to go with E/T drags. 3053S
They are a stiff wall and will handle a lot better all around.

My e/t streets did ok but moved around up top, the stiff walls are great.

What rim and rim width did you run these on and how did you launch?

I really like my ET Streets so far.

I really can't stress enough to use a bias ply tire. So much more forgiving on the drive train and helps prevent bogging when launching.

I had the E/T streets on 16in Camaro wheels, 13psi launching at 3800-4000.
I have E/T drag 28in on 15in racestar wheels, 12.5 psi launching at 6600.

I have also had 27in Hoosier QTP's and drove those on the street and track, I also liked those better than the E/T streets.

I ran et streets forever and switched to Hoosier qtp this year. I'll never go back! No sway at all and they hook like mad. Side walls seem to be hanging in there longer than the mt too.

I've heard good things about the Hoosier QTPs also. Would the 27/10.5/15 Hoosier and 26/10.5/15 ET Drag both work OK on an 8" rim?

They would be fine on a 8in rim, I had them on a 15x10
