Kirkey drag racing seat/will it fit if you dont have a roll cage? these things are cheap(100bucks) and i see they have mounting brackets.. so i take it, you can bolt them in without a cage? Im just trying to save some weight.. few pounds here and there adds up..
but can i mount one in with the brackets and no cage?

The brackets were worthless, to small to use the original seat studs. Unless the brackets are made to specifically put that seat in your car type...I would say they will probably require som fab work.
I made my own ghetto bracket to mount the seat. It worked without the cage, and works with my cage now that its installed.

but they told me i may need to do some fab work.. ill prob get the sliding mounts and see if they work, if not ill break out the drill press and welder <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0"> thanks
