Default I ordered a couple new mods today.

I am sick of spinning to high 1.6-1.7 60', so I decided to make a few changes. I thought it was time to put some real tires on the car. I ordered:

- Weld Prostar 15x10s (7.5" backspacing)
- Hoosier 28x10x15 drag slick
- tubes for the rim/tire
- Strange 4.56 gears
- BMR torque arm

I am also getting my front HALs fixed since they are leaking.

Hopefully, all of this will result in some mid 1.5 60' If we have some cool air left, I'm shooting for some low low 11.40 and maybe a magical 11.39999. Man, these stock LS1 heads rock!!

Personnally, I wouldn't bother with the tubes. I haven't found it necessary yet.

The tubes will help absorb some of the initial shock of the clutch dump. They might not make the car 60' any better, but it will be more consistant. Heck, the tubes only weigh 4lbs, so it won't be hurting me too much. LOL

Go for it. That 8 lbs of rotational weight won't hurt you too much and they'll be a little added safety. You'll use screws with them of course.
