Yea I have quite a bit of stuff to do. I need to get the kirkey in it. I still have the soft honda seats in there.
Car feels safe to me but its almost a second faster then what the cage is worth alone. Im sure the tracks will boot me the entire season.
Ill have to do 1/8th hits and steal a full track blasts here and there lol

Damn.... you have to appreciate the thickness of those sleeves. Much less the quality of the aluminum. I guess I didn't realize it was a splayed 4 bolt main, never looked into it tho

This block is amazing. It was expensive no doubt but really its finished. All it needs is finish honed to the pistons. The deck measures .001-.002 all across both sides. It is truly beautiful. They spend more time on the aluminum then they do the iron.

The main caps are beefy and came with studs in this block opposed to bolts like the iron.
This block came with the accessory pack unlike the iron. Coated cam bearings, All of the small fittings and block plugs, and such. Which is $140 extra usually.

Really end of the day Im probably going to be $1,800 into this one over the iron.

I keep catching **** because stock blocks do what Im doing but a stock block wont pull the kind of money I just sold my iron lsnext for a season later. They especially wont have 6,000 hard street miles and hundreds and hundreds of wot pulls on them without some kind of an issue.

I could care less what people say. For what I had into the lsnext it was the best money Ive ever invested into a car. Because it laughed at me over and over from the 1/4 to the 1/2 to unlimited street pulls. This car has been like an amusement park in my area. Ive given so many rides I cant even begin to describe.

Now, if I can pull 200lbs out of the car its over 180mph. Maybe its just me but that is pretty sweet.

Im so excited about this block I cant even begin to describe it. As long as I get the build out of the way as successful as the iron I am going to have a killer year with this thing.

i had an old spun rod bearing compstar laying around. Side by side of the Callies Ultra H and compstar.
I dropped the engine off to the machine shop for balancing and final hone and my machinist said that the ultra is a very nice quality rod. He actually really liked it and described it in detail. So I think it was the right choice for 1,400-1,450whp

Amazing car! I never look in this section much so I missed the whole build! Glad you posted it in the forced induction section with a link.

Good luck with the new combo. Can't wait to see the results!

Thank you sir! It has been quite the ride.

2018 should be a great year. I am excited for the couple hundred pound weight loss.

I should be able to knock that 60 down and throw in some boost down low. As well as add a fuel pump and see where this turbo max's out!

I know it's a long drive for you, but are you going to the LS Fest in Vegas this May? If so, I'd love to come shoot the crud with you and check out the car in person!
