Spun a rod bearing in my 98. Some of the other rod bearing look like they had some oil starvation issues. Pulling front wheels a couple feet off the track at launch and noticed oil gauge fluctuated some, but thought it was not enough to worry about. Changed to a Moroso pan and installed a low pressure light on the dash. Oil pressure good to go now.

Yes the Moroso pan was well worth the investment. Im 7-800 hard miles into the new motor. Oil pressure constant at 20-25 at idle and 75-80 at wot. With a high volume ls6 pump.

3,380 with me. I went air to air because I primarily drive the car on the streets. It rarely see's track duty. So I didnt want to deal with constant upkeep. I might switch for next season and race the car more. Since I put the bullseye on it is too much power for that tire on the street. It spins all of third gear. When It was 877whp it would rarely spin 2nd. Im guessing its up over 1,000 now.

Ordered a Rossler Terminator 3 trans. Hopefully it comes in a timely manor so I can get some good slips to post up.
Since I will have a functional trans brake and all

I never wanted to put a chute on the car but unfortunately it does not stop the greatest. So since it went 153 so easy on 18 psi with the 75mm ... after driving on 22-23 psi with the bullseye 800 tct and a good working trans it makes me nervous. So it is definitely going to do good.

I would love to cut my front end up like you did to save some weight . I wonder if I could do something like you did and still mount the front radiator and fans

Not how I wanted to run my first 8 second pass but I guess I shouldnt complain. Im just sad my first 8 second pass was a half *** one lol.

I only left on the brake and 5 psi because I wanted to go in a few testing stages before I ended up on the bumper or something crazy. So I left soft .... If I would have had just one or two more passes in her it would have been much better.

I have had cooling system pressure for a while now so I was assuming it was lifting the heads but nothing crazy yet. Well She blew right around the 1/8th but I peddled it to the end atleast for the slip.

I have been waiting for the gaskets to blow for some time now. I found these gaskets on ljms website so I thought they would be fitting. People always say to use the ls9 and it clearly works but I want to see if these being for the smaller bore work better.

Default Front end

First off I really love this car man, beautiful. I was wondering if you have more detailed pics of your front end, I've been wanting to do a once piece removable on mine, I just can't visualize the framing and attachment points, especially for the headlights and how the fenders mount.Mines an lt1 nose but shouldn't be too different. Any help would be awesome, thx a lot and congrats on that 8 sec pass!

I think the only pictures I have are on here. I just kind of took it a little at a time. It was time consuming for sure.
Just makes it easy to work on.
