Default NHRA fuel cell rules * help

We switched from IHRA to NHRA and I'm finishing my new build, looking for help on any thing you guys might know on cell in the trunk questions.
I am hoping common sense reigns supreme, but I hear the tech dudes are pretty tight. Don't want to do anything 2, or 3 times!

Plan is to ditch the old tank, and mount the cell 1 of 2 ways.
1. Cut a hole for the line to go beneath the trunk with the mounting of the pump and filter, or
2. Mount it all in the trunk, and route the fuel line out the front side of the trun floor.

I do know it needs a loop and vent to atmosphere, and a locking cap.

Thanks for any input, I know it's a random post. Also let me know if I'm in the wrong place!

If I'm not mistaken, when mounting a cell in the trunk, it needs to be isolated from the main cabin via a fire wall of some kind. So if you are dealing with a hatchback type car keep that in mind. I'm not real hip on the rules, but if it is a hatchback type situation, you may be able to avoid the "fire wall" issue by using some type of enclosure for the cell. Also, do as you said and route the vent down through the floor and out the bottom of the car.

The NHRA rules for a a hatchback car state that there must be a firewall bulkhead between the cell and the driver. If you mount the cell under the car like the nasty performance stock location replacement cell you are ok. If you put a traditional cell in the hatch area you need this:

Sweet, yeah the car has a trunk and a stock back seat backing that will act as a firewall. They have so many little rules that aren't in the general rulebook, I just wanna make sure I am on the right track. Our last track officials were cool, just more about being safe in general, not super specific like this seems to be

Put it in the engine bay, save a bunch of weight in line and only have fire possibilities in one place on the car. You have the hood open all the time anyway so why not only have to work on one end of the car.
