Default 231/237 PP"ls6" track times

i have some new times with my 231/237 PPls6 h/c.
11.72@116 on a 1.55 60ft. it was pretty hot and humid outside, so i think i may be able to get a better time out of it.
hopefully i can fix my nitrous problem and get a couple of runs on the juice next time.

i have no idea. maybe because of the humidity in southeast texas. also when i started running slicks my 60ft's went down, and so did my trap speed.
i am also at full race weight.

your 60's went down meaning from 1.7 to 1.55 or you actually had better 60's before the slicks? Also what size slick are they? Depending on the height it can be hurting your overall gearing...remember bias plys tend to have about an inch of growth so if you got 27in tall slicks at the end of the track they may have grown to 28inches...rule of thumb is go with the smallest diameter tire you can and still catch traction.

Talking

I have the 231/237 on stock heads and the idle is set at 900. No track times yet.

How do you guys feel about a dry 100 shot on a stock bottom end with the 231/237 and stage 2 heads? Will it hold?

MPH does seem low. Maby some knock retard ? BTW have you had a chance to run it on the spray yet? or dyno on the spray?
I am adding a kit to my car and wondering how other h/c cars are running with it.

Thanks

The weather makes a huge difference. On some cars the trap speeds can vary 5 mph. We have that same issue in West Palm Beach.

Where are your RPM's after your shifts falling back down to? and what is your race weight? I'm thinking with your power levels, that you should b quicker than that...do you have a copy of your dyno graph that you can post. My 1st thought was your 60' time, but that looks pretty damn good. I would think with your mods and that 60' that you should be closer to 11.3's at 119ish.... Is your car just real heavy...Maybe you are falling out of your power band when shift. I'd be real interested to see a dyno sheet to check out your curve.

BTW I know it's been humid as hell lately and I'm sure that's not helping at all.
