Mwc rollcage install help!! Hello all I am in the process of installing my rollcage any tips would be appreciated not sure where to start,how far back does the main hoop go?should I start from front to rear it is jig notched. Thanks
When you get to the point of it all fitting in place correctly, add a couple small tacks on the halo at the main hoop only. Then knock loose the A-pillar bars and lean the main hoop forward a bit to enable full welding of the top of the halo. Reposition the main hoop and put the A-pillar bars back in place with the door bars just single tacked, then stitch weld the 6 main floor contact joints. Then we will usually remove the door bars until last to help ease access in and out of the car while all the finish work is being done. Be sure to make sure they are positioned correctly with the main hoop and A-pillar bars before removal to keep the base of the A-pillar bars and main hoop in correct relationship for proper fitment.
