Default Anyone with Midwest 2800 stalls get in here!

Kind of curious how people ran with this converter. I sold mine in my quest for 11s on stock internals to go to a Yank SS3600. For now, I am on the stock converter since I had problems with my custom built stall. But, with my old Midwest 2800 stall and the other mods below, I went 12.28 @ 110.26 with a 1.71 60ft. Is that a tad freakish for that small of a converter?

There have been a few people that i've seen post in this section that have gon 12.2's-12.0's on the stock converter. I don't know if I would consider it freakish, but still a pretty decent time.

Yeah, but the people that have gone 12.2-12.0s on the stocker, have they done a ton of weight reduction? Have they gone internals yet? Gears? I just haven't seen a small stall like that on full weight without going internal motor pull that kind of time. I even have this in the back at all times:

12.08 on the stock TC

12.2 with full weight is pretty quick. If you used my Welds you would be hitting 11s
