mickey thompson or nitto dot tire ???????
i still like the nittos. The MT's should hook a little better just because they have bigger flat patches on them and less groves for water channeling
Dunno how they will do on the street though.. probably wear and suck in water similar to the BFG's. I never had wet road probs with my nittos

i've tried both et-streets&drags and could not hook that good at all. look at www.intercotire.com look at the m&h racemaster musclecar drags. the 305/40/16 on a lt1 rim pulled my front tires(stock f1's)m6,off the ground.they were also 5-year wornout old too,i cut 1.5-60foots. just think what a new set would do. 1.4-60's in a m6? maybe. nittos would be better for street use,alot better, but for track,it's m&h. goodluck.

thanks guys im going with the mickey thompson et street just found a place that has them new i should have them soon.....do you think i can spray in first gear with the mickeys os shood i spray in second gear???

I have a freind that pulled 1.67 60 ft's on et streets with a bone stock comaro and 100 shot dry kit spraying out the hole. he ran 11.6's in the 1320.
Switched to NIttos and ran 1.65 60 ft's and went 11.45 because of more mph. went from 116 to 118 just changing tires.
I have seen more mph with nittos myself untill I switched to 4.30 gears and now I need the extra height of the et streets.
