I am curious what gears you guys are using and what is working best for you in a couple scenarios. I have read a lot and spoke with a lot of people but looking to hear from those who have tried a couple different setups.

My car is currently at 800rwhp and looking to make 11xx once I get the chassis set up and dialed in at the track and on the street(the best I can). I have a 3.80 bore 5.3, billet s475, th400 with a 3.42 rear gear. Looking to go longer for the street but I dont want to go too long depending on feedback from you.

What gears are you guys using to achieve what mph with a 28/29 tire etc through the end of the 1/4? Thanks fellas.

Pick a tire, rear gear it to go through the traps at desired mph. If it's a track car, gear like a track car.

Post in the turbo section you will get a lot of suggestions from people with similar setups lots of guys are running 3.08-3.55 with great success.
