Default Drag Setup; Strano/Koni vs Stock

Hey guys, working on what suspension will get me faster. With Strano/Koni i was cutting 2.0 with 315 555s

I have a set of 275/50/15 555r and skinnies now. Would it be more beneficial to go back with a stock setup (I have a stock Z28 I can swap the full suspension with)

I also have a set of V6 rear and an abundance of V6 Camaro in the junkyard of those V6 front springs will work out better.

Side question, i know lowered rides aren't optimal for the strip... any way to prevent my car from looking like its competing against Grave Digger at the Monster Jam?

Future setup is LQ9/LS3 top end.

Thanks.

sounds like your no longer concerned with handling and looking for best hook with little or no money spent... in that case v6 springs in the rear , worn out original shocks in the front along with front sway bar removal and good shocks in the rear preferably a drag shock. Worn shocks in front and sway removal is all about weight transfer from front to rear , decent shocks in the rear is about being capable of taking all the weight being transferred and putting it to the ground.

The Firebird already has the sway bar removed (looking for a lightweight battery now to lose more front end weight)

The Camaro's front shock has 116K miles, not too worn out. Should I keep the front V8 or go with a V6 spring, I have 93-97 (95 in/lb) for the rear that I will probably pair up with C/E 3 way

Easy fix... Put the MWC/Viking, Strange, Or Afco shocks on the car. Adjustable valving to get you both street comfort and race performance. Adjustable ride height to let you set your stance for the looks you want. I guarantee you this combo will far outperform what you have.

Last year I went 1.3 60fts on the stock T56 and Stranos/KYB AGXs. Was a lot of squat and wouldn't lift the tires though. Picked up some Vikings from MWC to try this year.
