Default Need new slicks... What to get?

I have used up my 26x10x15 ET Drags. Time for some new rubber... Some seem to think I would pick up some MPH by going to ET Streets? If so would size ET Streets should I get? I have Yank 4400 stall. I know ET Streets/Drags are measured differently. Not sure how much different though. I currently have tubes. I'm thinking of going without them this time around.

Most of the Bolt-on guys run 26x10.5 ET Streets. That 26x10 ET Drag you've been running is significantly different in size (bigger). The 26x10.5 ET Street is about the equivalent to an 8" ET Drag.

With your setup... TH-400 right? You may be better off with a 26x11.5x15 ET Street on a 15x10 (7.5bs) rim.

You would not pick up any mph with ET streets and you will not hook nearly as well.
Stick with the ET drag or go with a Hoosier 26x10 inch slick.
Cheers,

The last few times at the track I have been running on a set of 26x9x15 Hoosier slicks. These things are hands down better than my old 26x10.5x15 ET streets. I had to go as low as 12 psi on the ET streets to get them to hook. I never had to run the Hoosiers any lower than 15 psi and they hooked everytime, even with 6500 rpm clutch dumps. They are also much more stable on the 15x8 inch rim than the Et streets were at 12 psi. The Hoosiers will be what I go to next time.
