Default Stalls after hard launch.

Went to the track tonight and Im not happy with the results. My car is a low compression 408 with ls3 heads and a 233/239 .615/.615 cam. It's a 6 speed car on mickey Thompsons and a lingenfelter 2-step. I would launch and it would hook but then fall on its face like it was bogging. I can accept the fact that cars will bog if under launched but my car completely stalled out on the last pass when I got the launch dialed in better with less Tire pressure and a lower 2step. Could it be electrical coming undone? I found my injectors are small. I've got 42# injerstors I'll put in next week but would the injectors being over worked cause it to fall on its face completely. My biggest worry Is my 111mph trap. It's so low.

Stock injectors should be good for decent times on motor. I think it's your tune man.

have you checked your battery? are you sure its secured? are you sure?
heres my back story. went to a trac with my car finally got some sticky tires. car would lauched hard like im thinking to the point of pulling the front wheel. but then all of a sudden car fell flat on its face no power just dead. but then right back up and dead again and then back up and ran down. funny thing is driving to the track i would punch it and it felt great but from a dead stop at the trak boom right on its face. apparently the optima battery and a stock hold down dont work together. so the battery under hard launch would tilt back positive would ground out and short out entire system. next day went to hardware store and got a piece of flat aluminum and bent it over battery and screwed in place.

Probably electrical. We have found wires that were snug but not tight after we had this issue pop up. At the hit, it's hard enough to lose connection. They can vibrate loose pretty easily.

It looks like the battery was tipping back and hitting the ac. I'm going to make a battery strap for it and I put bigger injectors in last night. Hoping to make it to the track this weekend if I can figure out the injector flow data by then.

Thanks guys. It was really disappointing only running 111 mph and being able to pull an ls3 vette on the hwy

I'v seen the same thing happen with a bad battery hold down. Car would launch, then lose power.
