Chassy for the strip I'm goint to get some SFCs for my car. I drive it every day, and drag race once or twice a month. My friends tell me to get the Double Diamond SFCs. What are you drag racers using? I probably won't be doing 2foot wheelstands, so what would be the point of getting them over normal SFCs? What i'm trying to say is, are they overkill for a drag car? I was set on just getting BMRs, but now i'm not sure.

BMR = A company that makes makes and sells suspension parts (as well as SFCs).
PSJ - What are you using on your car BTW? I think that normal boxed BMRs would be enough. But the DoubleDiamonds, I would imagine, are stiffer.

Re: Chassy for the strip Double diamonds are heavier. But, they triangluate more poiunts of the car than a standard 2 point. Since you can't really measure the stiffness of a car it's not really proven which is better. THough most will say the more points of contact triangulated the better.
The only disadvantage is the weight. I had tubulars on my 5.0L, but I splurged for the Z and got the DDs.
