go buy a mazda miata if you want the look that bad! i would expect something like that from the honda crowd j/k. It was a good try tho.Might wanna get that wood peice replaced with some fibreglass. Maybe try using one of those fibreglass speedster covers for the verts.

That's the ugliest **** I have ever seen....

Terry for you next mods, maybe try some 13 inch 120 spokes, those are pretty light. Don't forget the fuzzy dice on the windsheild(I know it's a crutch on adding weight, but I think it fits your application). Oh yeah, cut your hair and make it a mullet. Maybe blow up a picture of a doublewide and glue it to the back window/plywood.

If any of you guys ever get a C5, you'll come to understand as I have that FBodies are fun cheap cars and great for drag racing, but pretty ghetto right from the factory.

I think a lot of people on here take them way too seriously.

Another neat thing is the back of the car doubles for a work bench now. Maybe I'll bolt down a huge rice spoiler just for kicks.

I took the carpet out of the car, but left the back seats in (wo seatbelts), and left the floormats in. The interior is painted black from the factory. Having the rear window butt up against the rear seat back really makes the gutted interior look a lot nicer.

I won't be doing this to my 2001, but I am thinking about throwing my 375CI iron block LS1 motor in this ride.

Auh Terry, .... Never mind!

Do you think this would have some screwed up arrow dynamics? Its seems like the air would flow then stumble behind the car at high speeds.

For all the Terry haters do you remember why they call funny cars...funny cars? If not look into the history.

Even that hatch has too much weight. If you put a 90 degree bend right at the area between the wheel wells, you'd have a pickup truck version and wouldn't have that extra weight of the extra 2 feet of plywood. The trunk would be a great place to throw a few bags of ice and some beverages of your choice.

Let's call it El Pájaro.

Man, reminds me of the El Cadmino that someone here in town made. Took an early 70s Eldoroado, chopped the roof and rear trunk, and grafted a truck bed.

(Of course, the Camaro version would be the El Camaro, but El Firebirdo just doesn't work, does it?)

LOL!!
Have you been to the track with it yet? How are you going to fit the slicks in the car?
Cheers,

maybe you should take off the hood (remember juevos ) and the fenders and

maybe fill the tires with helium...scratch that...hydrogen (would make for a f-ing cool-*** burnout)

I remember when a local guy here took his TA wing off for a few hundredths...this is just as bad IMO

Terry for as much money as you claim to make with your car banner you used to have, you sure do have a pretty trashy/shitty way of treating your cars. Don't clean them, build wooden rear hatch's, who knows what else. What's next, mud boggin and a body lift? LOL

Heh I don't make as much as a lot of other guys on here, but enough that I can afford to buy a new fbody every year or two. So why should I bother taking care of them? The dealer is going to give me low bluebook no matter what condition the car is in.
