the quickest stock internal is 11.303 for an a4 and 11.56 for m6 there are about 4 A4's faster than him right now on the combined list.

Very nice time. I see you have the power robbing FIPK <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> By some chance did you ever run your car with a stock lid then the FIPK? Thanks.

my car ran 14.00@104.5 with a stock lid.(2.46 60 ft.)
My current times are with the FIPK.
Does that help any? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
It works.

01 Z great run. It is truly amazing you are running these times with a M6 and on stock internals. I have a H/C job and my best so far is 11.72. So compared to that, your car is sensational. Good luck and maybe some day you will share some of them secrets for speed. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

I still have the stock clutch/10-bolt, but I won't by the next cold season. Who knows what else I might have by then? A non-steel driveshaft? Suspension? Draglites in the rear? LS1 Edit tuning? Who knows?

The following is on my to do list:

Chromoly K-member
Chromoly A-arms
HAL shocks
remove front sway bar
pro-stars on all 4 corners
ASP pulley
LS1edit tuning
lightweight hood
some more free mods
mucho weight reduction (for track)

By the time the cold air comes back hopefully I will have everything I have listed above actually on the car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Yes, boys and girls, the Waco Bolt-On Bash Brothers will be in full effect in the fall/winter of '02/'03. By next spring, hopefully, 11.303 will not be the record anymore, and a 6-speed driving Waco native will hold the new record. Who all with the A4 tranny is still active? I hope you boys plan on raising the bar a little bit, or the A4's reign atop the bolt-on world is likely to come to an end! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Good luck to all.

Guys,
I saw RAGEman and Bad Habit Bird both run the numbers they have put up. Like they said the air & temp were perfect.

My car hualed *** also that day. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Great to see that competative sprit on tring to break the records and even more fun tring to hold on to them <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Record are made to be broken boys. <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" />

Rageman, don't take this personal but I can't logically conceive an internally stock M6 LS1 f-body with only 3.42 gears and a race weight of 3200 lbs running a 11.5 @ 121 mph. That's leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else, especially that mph. If you are truely legit, then please take my disbelief as a compliment because that's how rediculous that ET and MPH are.

Hey Rageman, I live in Waco right now. I'll be moving soon. I'm building my A4 z28 to only be a bolt on car. I met you once at the NTAC gathering place, maybe we could get some good competition going, but I have a bit of work to do to catch up with you.

I'd like to see an internaly stock ls1 hit a 10.99.

I was also at HRP that glorious day RAGEman ran a 11.5. And so was Mr. John Cambell. There was also a good tail wind.

Why don't you believe it? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
